An area of disturbed weather is centered off the East coast of Florida (that had lingered over the Bahamas for the better part of the past week). This system has the potential to become a tropical depression, or even a tropical storm, in the next 24 - 36 hr. It could also play a role in our weather later in the week. However this is far from certain, and at best there is a 50% chance of these scenarios materializing.
