A TROUGH OF LOW PRESSURE WAS ENTRENCHED OVER THE BAY OF

FUNDY ON MONDAY. MOIST UNSTABLE AIR FROM THE SOUTH INTERACTED

WITH THE TROUGH TO PRODUCE HEAVY RAIN AMOUNTS IN SOME LOCALITIES

OF SOUTHERN NOVA SCOTIA. RAIN HAD STARTED FALLING IN EARNEST BEFORE

DAWN ON MONDAY.
