Rainfall warning for

Fredericton and Southern York County continued

Up to 85 millimeters of rain is expected by Thursday night.

This is a warning that significant rainfall is expected in these regions. Monitor weather conditions..Listen for updated statements.

An intensifying low pressure system over Southern Quebec will track eastward to lie over Northern New Brunswick by Thursday evening. Showers can be expected today before changing to rain at times heavy this evening and then continue all day Thursday. Currently Southwestern New Brunswick is forecast to receive 40 to 60 millimeters of rain with the exception of the Fundy coast where up to 85 millimeters is possible by Thursday evening.

Yarmouth County continued

Up to 65 millimeters of rain expected by Thursday evening.

This is a warning that significant rainfall is expected in these regions. Monitor weather conditions..Listen for updated statements.

An intensifying low pressure system over Southern Quebec will track eastward to lie over Northern New Brunswick by Thursday evening. Periods of rain today will become heavy at times this evening and will continue all day Thursday. Currently Western Nova Scotia is forecast to receive 45 to 65 millimeters of rain by Thursday evening.

In addition Les Suetes winds will gust to 80 km/h this afternoon and evening before increasing to 120 km/h by late Thursday afternoon.
