CANADA AT 11:38 AM ADT WEDNESDAY 25 JULY 2012.

A TROUGH OF LOW PRESSURE BEGAN TRACKING ACROSS THE MARITIMES
TUESDAY AND HAS MOVED TO LIE OVER CAPE BRETON THIS MORNING. RAIN 
ASSOCIATED WITH THIS SYSTEM BEGAN OVER WESTERN NOVA SCOTIA TUESDAY 
MORNING AND CONTINUED TO MOVE EASTWARD THROUGHOUT THE DAY AND 
OVERNIGHT HOURS. RAIN WAS HEAVY AT TIMES WITH THUNDERSHOWERS
REPORTED IN SOME AREAS.

A TROUGH OF LOW PRESSURE BEGAN TRACKING ACROSS THE MARITIMES
TUESDAY AND HAS MOVED TO LIE OVER CAPE BRETON THIS MORNING. RAIN 
BEGAN OVER THE ISLAND TUESDAY LATE TUESDAY MORNING AND CONTINUED
INTO THE OVERNIGHT HOURS. THE RAIN CONTINUED OVER EASTERNMOST AREAS 
INTO WEDNESDAY MORNING. ALTHOUGH MUCH OF PRINCE EDWARD ISLAND 
RECIEVED SOME RAINFALL FROM THIS SYSTEM EASTERNMOST AREAS SAW THE 
HEAVIEST RAINFALL.
