Rainfall warning for
Fredericton and Southern York County issued

Total rainfall amounts of 30 to 50 millimetres are expected by late Wednesday.

This is a warning that significant rainfall is expected in these regions. Monitor weather conditions..listen for updated statements.

A trough of low pressure approaching from the west will move into New Brunswick on Wednesday. Rain will spread across New Brunswick tonight and will be heavy at times Wednesday. Rainfall amounts will be especially significant over Fundy and southwestern regions of the province. Rainfall amounts of 30 to 50 millimetres are forecast for southwesternmost regions with lesser amounts expected elsewhere.

Halifax County - east of Porters Lake issued

30 to 50 millimetres of rain expected on Wednesday.

This is a warning that significant rainfall is expected in these regions. Monitor weather conditions..listen for updated statements.

A trough of low pressure will approach from the west overnight tonight. Bands of rain at times heavy will begin late this evening over Western Mainland Nova Scotia and will move slowly eastward during the day Wednesday. Near 30 millimetres of rain is expected over Western Nova Scotia by late Wednesday evening and up to 50 millimetres is expected over central sections of the province overnight Wednesday. This is a slow moving system containing lots of moisture..It is possible rainfall warnings could be being further extended.

Along with the rain this system will bring strong southeasterly winds to the province. The strongest gusts of up to 100 km/h in Les Suetes winds are expected Wednesday night.
