A stalled weather system stretching from the Eastern Seaboard through Atlantic Canada will persist through the weekend. The tropical moisture feed asociated with this feature will continue to produce copious amounts of rain. Total rainfall amounts of 100 millimetres or more are possible across parts of the province before the rain tapers off on Sunday.
