...LOW PRESSURE WILL PRODUCE HEAVY RAIN OVER MAINE AND NEW
HAMPSHIRE TODAY...

.LOW PRESSURE CROSSING NEW ENGLAND WILL CONTINUE TO SPREAD MIXED
PRECIPITATION ACROSS THE REGION THIS MORNING BEFORE A CHANGEOVER
TO RAIN IS EXPECTED. THE RAINFALL WILL BE HEAVY WITH STORM TOTALS
OF 1 TO 3 INCHES EXPECTED. THE HIGHEST AMOUNTS WILL FALL ALONG A
CORRIDOR FROM CONCORD NEW HAMPSHIRE TO SKOWHEGAN MAINE.

IN ADDITION...LOCALLY HIGHER AMOUNTS ARE POSSIBLE IN THE FAVORED
UPSLOPE LOCATIONS OF THE WESTERN MAINE MOUNTAINS AND NEW
HAMPSHIRE. EVEN THOUGH WE HAVE BEEN FAIRLY DRY OVER THE PAST FEW
WEEKS...THE RAIN WILL BE FALLING ON FROZEN GROUND CAUSING MOST OF
IT TO RUNOFF. PRECIPITATION WILL END FROM SOUTHWEST TO NORTHEAST
LATE IN THE AFTERNOON.
