THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN CARIBOU ME HAS CONFIRMED A TORNADO NEAR LUDLOW IN AROOSTOOK COUNTY MAINE ON MAY 26 2014. MINOR TREE DAMAGE WAS EVIDENT ON BOTH SIDES OF LUDLOW ROAD, WITH TREES EITHER SPLIT OR UPROOTED IN A CONVERGENT PATTERN. THIS DAMAGE WAS SUPPORTED BY AN EYEWITNESS WHO WAS PRESENT AT THE TIME OF THE EVENT, AS WELL AS WELL AS PHOTO EVIDENCE OF THE FUNNEL TAKEN BY A PERSON SOUTH OF HOULTON.
