* IMPACTS...LOW TO MODERATE IMPACT. SNOWFALL WILL RESULT IN SOME
  TRAVEL DIFFICULTIES WITH ROADS SNOW COVERED AND SLIPPERY.

* WINDS...NORTHEAST 5 TO 10 MPH.

* TEMPERATURES...22 TO 27.

* VISIBILITIES...BRIEF PERIODS OF A HALF MILE IS POSSIBLE.

A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY FOR SNOW MEANS THAT PERIODS OF SNOW
WILL CAUSE PRIMARILY TRAVEL DIFFICULTIES. BE PREPARED FOR SNOW
COVERED ROADS AND LIMITED VISIBILITIES...AND USE CAUTION WHILE
DRIVING.

Snowfall warning in effect for:
  • Fredericton and Southern York County
Snowfall, with total amounts of 15 to 20 cm is expected.

A low pressure system will move south of Nova Scotia on Sunday and
Sunday night. This system will bring snow, at times heavy, to
southern New Brunswick beginning Sunday morning which will
continue into the evening. Snowfall amounts of 15 cm are
expected before this system moves away.
Be prepared to adjust your driving with changing road conditions. Visibility may be suddenly reduced at times in heavy snow. Surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may become difficult to navigate due to accumulating snow.

Snowfall warnings are issued when significant snowfall is expected.

  • Halifax Metro and Halifax County West
Snowfall, with total amounts of 15 to 20 cm is expected.

A low pressure system will pass south of Nova Scotia on Sunday. This system will bring snow, at times heavy, to mainland Nova Scotia Sunday morning. The snow will become mixed with ice pellets Sunday afternoon and then taper to flurries Sunday evening. Snowfall amounts of up to 20 cm are forecast for the Annapolis Valley, Halifax County West, and Lunenburg County by Sunday evening.
Be prepared to adjust your driving with changing road conditions. Visibility may be suddenly reduced at times in heavy snow. Surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may become difficult to navigate due to accumulating snow.
