Special weather statement in effect for:
  • Woodstock and Carleton County
Wintry mix of precipitation likely on Tuesday.
A weak trough of low pressure will approach New Brunswick from Quebec later tonight and push a wintry mix of precipitation into northern and Western New Brunswick beginning early Tuesday morning. Precipitation will likely begin as snow or freezing rain in the morning and become mixed with or change to rain near noon over most locations but could persist as snow over higher terrain until afternoon. Precipitation will change to scattered showers in the afternoon as temperatures warm slightly.

While precipitation amounts are not expected to reach warning criteria, travel could still be impacted in the above regions and travellers are advised to expect possible winter-like conditions on Tuesday - especially over higher terrain.
The public is advised to monitor future forecasts and warnings as warnings may be required or extended.
