EVENING TO 11 PM EST WEDNESDAY...

* WHAT...Snow expected. Plan on slippery road conditions,
  including during the evening commute on Wednesday. Total snow
  accumulations of 4 to 8 inches are expected.

* WHERE...Central Penobscot, Southern Penobscot, Interior
  Hancock, Central Washington, Coastal Hancock, Coastal
  Washington, Southern Piscataquis and Northern Washington
  County.

* WHEN...11 PM this evening until 11 PM Wednesday.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Be prepared for reduced visibilities at

A Winter Weather Advisory for snow means periods of snow will

...Snow will impact New Hampshire and Maine tonight into
Wednesday...

.Low pressure is expected to develop off the Mid Atlantic coast
this evening then move northeastward into the Gulf of Maine on
Wednesday. Snow will begin early to mid evening in New Hampshire,
and late evening in Maine. The snow could be heavy at times late
tonight and Wednesday morning. The snow will end from west to
east, during the afternoon Wednesday.

A developing low pressure system will approach from the southwest Wednesday evening crossing the Maritimes overnight and into Thursday morning. The potential exists for snowfall to reach warning criteria of 15 or more cm before the snow changes over to rain or freezing rain.

Fredericton and Southern York County
A developing low pressure system will approach the Maritimes from the southwest on Wednesday. Snowfall ahead of the low is expected to begin in the morning over southern New Brunswick and will spread northward throughout the day. The potential exists for snowfall to reach warning criteria of 15 cm or more before tapering off Thursday morning. Areas along the Bay of Fundy may also see a switch over to rain with the risk of freezing early Thursday morning.
